Deb Puls – President

Deb began her Jaycee career in 1986 as a member of the Dubuque Jaycees.  She was an active member and served as Personal Involvement Director, Activation Director and State Director of her chapter.  On the state level she served as the Iowa Jaycee Leadership Program Manager, and on the National level she was an Awards Judge for US Junior Chamber.

Deb is a Tenth Degree Jaycee, Hawkeye Corp Member #290, Iowa Jaycees Governor #439, and JCI Senator #55516. She serves as the Treasurer of the Iowa JCI Senate, and President of the Foundation for Iowa Jaycee Charities.

She was a Girl Scout Volunteer for over 32 years in the Little Cloud Council and the Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois.  She is currently a volunteer for United Way of Dubuque and is the Treasurer for the Volunteer Service Organization for Bethany Home.

Deb is an Admin Assistant at Klauer Manufacturing Company in Dubuque, Iowa and has been with the family owned manufacturing company for 30 years.


Newton Standridge – Vice President / Investments

Has been involved with the Jaycees since 1975, serving on local, state and national in numerous areas.   Served the US JCI Senate as Liaison to the United States Junior Chamber, appointed annually by the National President of the United States JCI Senate, serving 2008-2013.   Responsibility was to help coordinate and communicate between both organizations.

While being involved in Jaycees he has also served the City of Norwalk 1981-1993, as Council 3 years and Mayor 9 years

Participating in the Norwalk Chamber of Commerce since being founded in 1992.  Served on the Board many of these years and President in 2011.  Traveling twice to Washington DC representing the Chamber and City of Norwalk promoting municipal business and economic development.

Newton has been in the printing and promotions field since 1972 and is now busy with his own company Standridge Group.  In his “spare” time he keeps busy with the Norwalk Chamber as Marketing Chair and the Norwalk Utility Advisors Committee as Chair.  Selected as Chamber Member of the Year 2013

Wife of over 40 years, Carol is a R.N. and has been working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of Blank Children’s Hospital since January 1973 where she is a member of the Transport Team.

Involved in the Foundation for Iowa Jaycees Charities in mid 80’s and now once again as Vice President.

Lisa Badger – Secretary

Lisa Badger is a Business Analyst Manager at General Dynamics Information Technologies in West Des Moines, Iowa. Lisa has been working on current contract for the past 12 years and the health care industry for 22 years.

Lisa was a member of the Newton Jaycees. She is a Tenth Degree Jaycee, Hawkeye Corp Member #423, Iowa Jaycee Governor #318, Senator #67973 and Public Relations Director of the Foundation for Iowa Jaycee Charities. She is active with the Iowa JCI Senate and the Foundation for Iowa Jaycee Charities.

 

 


Dan Badger – Director / Legal Oversight Chair

Dan Badger is a Software Quality Assurance at General Dynamics Information Technologies (GDIT) in West Des Moines, Iowa. Dan has worked with GDIT since 2012. Prior to joining GDIT, Dan served as General Manager of the DMACC Newton Conference Center in Newton, Iowa.

Dan was a member of the Newton Jaycees. He is a Tenth Degree Jaycee, Hawkeye Corp Member #422, Senator #67974 and Solicitations Director of the Foundation for Iowa Jaycee Charities. He is active with the Iowa JCI Senate and the Foundation for Iowa Jaycee Charities.

Thomas Molstad – Director / Grant Review Chair

Dr Tom Molstad is a chiropractor practicing in Sioux City since 1995.

When he is not busy with patients, he is active with his church, Morningside Kiwanis, the Festival of Trees-Sioux City, the Foundation for Iowa Jaycee Charities, and Special Olympics.

BrianWitte

Brian Witte – Director / Public Relations Chair

Brian joined the Hampton Jaycees in 1997 where he served as chapter President in 2001.  He became a member of the Cedar Falls Jaycees in 2002 and worked on project committees for the local fireworks, statewide youth sports, Live to 9, and many leadership trainings.  He stepped up to the state level in 2008 as the Youth Events Program Manager, State Vice President in 2009 and 2010, and Iowa’s ONTO Chicago Chair in 2011.  He finished his Jaycee career as a National Awards Committee Judge and National Convention Committee member in 2012.

Brian has a BFA in Fine Art from the College of Design at Iowa State University.  He lives in Des Moines where he works in the sign industry as a Graphic Designer at Airport Signs & Graphics.

He received the Dennis Hamilton Memorial Award from the US Jaycees in 2010.  He is Iowa Jaycee Governor #353 and Past President of the Iowa Jaycee Governors Association, JCI Senator #68535.  He currently serves as the Foundation’s Public Relations Chair.


Tracy Taylor – Director

Tracy began his Jaycee career in 1987 as a Jubilee Jaycee in Daphne, AL and later joined the Waverly Jaycees in 1993.  He became an active member and served as Waverly President in 1995-6.  He continued his leadership track in Iowa as District 301 Director in 1996-97, Region 3 Director in 1997-98, Iowa Jaycees Management Development Vice President in 1998-9, District Director Trainer in 2000, Iowa Jaycees Secretary/Treasurer in 2001, and 74th President of the Iowa Jaycees in 2002.  He is Colonel #391 in the Hawkeye Corp, Iowa Jaycees Governor #319, U.S. Junior Chamber Ambassador #4215, and JCI Senator #66603. Tracy serves as the Hawkeye Corps Treasurer and a Director for the Foundation for Iowa Jaycee Charities.  Tracy is currently the Vice President of First State Bank of Colfax in Colfax, IA.  Tracy is married to Angie Taylor and has a son, Patrick.

Doreen Andrew – Director

Doreen Andrew is the Accounts Receivable/Credit Manager for Koch Brothers, Inc. in Des Moines, Iowa and has been with the family owned office products and copiers company for over 30 years.

Doreen began her Jaycee career in 1991 in the Des Moines Jaycees as an active member Doreen served as president of the Des Moines Jaycees in 1999.  With her dedication to the Jaycees she is an Iowa Jaycees Governor and JCI Senator.  She served as 2015-16 Iowa JCI Senate President and currently holds a position as a Director for the Foundation for Iowa Jaycees Charities.
